I am writing this mail approximately after 8 months after my surgery.

I was suffering from irregular mensuration cycle and was experiencing heavy bleeding for prolonged periods (sometimes as high as 20-22 continuous days). I consulted many doctors for about two years but no one could precisely diagnose the problem. I was given contradictory reasons by various doctors.

I consider myself lucky when I walked into OPD at Fortis, Vasant Kunj and consulted Dr. Richa.

From that day, we started on a journey which lead to step by step examination and we narrowed down the cause. Her diagnosis was confirmed by senior doctors at AIIMS. Finally, it was decided that the fibroids on inner layer of my uterus could not be cured and the only option available was hysterectomy.

Its been seven months now and I am leading a normal and healthy life.
